Yesterday, I started off the Grumpy Blog by sharing a article from the Daily Mail (that last bastion of Great British Journalism – Not) about a woman who claims to have Britain’s largest fake boobs at size 30 KK. If you haven’t read the article, you can find it here.
My reason for sharing the article is that it was a perfect example of many of the things that annoy me about the modern world.
For a start, aside from the fact that they look terrible, why would anyone want to do that to their body? What on earth could be the benefit of it? According to the article, she was 30DD to start with, which one would think would be plenty big enough. I know a couple of women with perfectly acceptable DDs. Hell, I know women with perfectly lovely Bs, Cs and Ds.
Do you know anything about bra sizes? If not, go look it up. The ‘cup’ represents the difference in the measurement around the chest just below the boobs and the measurement around the chest at the fullest part of the boob. “D” represents a difference of 3 inches – about the size of your thumb (maybe). “DD” is 4 inches. “KK” is 15 inches. That’s over a foot! Longer than certain branded sandwich. Or to put it another way, two average length penises!
She went from 30DD (4 inch difference), up to 30FF (7 Inches), then 30HH (11 Inches) and finally 30KK. So to get to her monstrous bosom, she underwent surgery THREE times adding around 4 inches to her bust each time. THREE times. Let me say that once more just in case you didn’t get it, THREE TIMES!
Now, have you ever seen one of those programmes on breast ops? The ones where they show you how it’s done? This is MAJOR surgery. There’s cuts and pipes and pumps all over place. It’s certainly not the kind of operation I’d want to undergo even once – I can’t imagine why anyone would do that unless they had to to, you know, save their life or something.
But to subject yourself to it THREE TIMES? And to pay for the privilege? (£8000 her last op cost. EIGHT GRAND! At least it wasn’t on the NHS)
WHY?
The answer of course, is obvious. Despite this quote from the article…
“…it was never my intention to forge a glamour modelling career…”
…it’s very evident from her twitter feed (and the photos I’ve included here) that she’s gone ahead and done just that. Hell, later in the article she mentions…
“…when I’m on a photo shoot in seven inch heels…”
… not to mention she charges £35 a pop for signed topless photos.
I wonder how long it will be before we see her on “The Valleys”? (Which is, I’m told, the Welsh version of “The Only Way Is Essex” – a show I’m glad to say I’ve never seen a single episode of)
But do you know what really annoys me about this?
Debbie’s daughters, Sian, 15, and Katie, 12, have different opinions on their mother’s assets.
She says: ‘My oldest thinks it’s great and just wants me to be famous but my youngest is more shy and a bit embarrassed by them.
So, the 15 year old – the target audience for shows like “The Valleys” and “TOWIE”, thinks it’s great and wants her mom to be famous.
Whereas the 12 year old, who I would hope is yet to be infected by celebrity culture, thinks it’s embarrassing. Yeah, I can imagine it would be embrassing when 12 year old boys get out their phones to show you pictures of your mother’s tits from her twitter feed at playtime.
What a difference 3 years can make, huh?
The really sad thing is that in today’s culture, despite all the hoopla over “Girl Power”, our young women still seem to think that the best way to get on in life is to have massive tits, show them off a lot and get famous (and I assume they think famous=rich) from doing so. What a sad state of affairs. And how sad that this mother, far from discouraging this belief in her impressionable daughter, is encouraging it – she might not be doing it deliberately, but that’s exactly what she’s doing.
I can’t help but wonder what Sian’s twitter feed will look like in a few years. Just like mum’s? It wouldn’t surprise me.
And do you know who we have to blame for this? Ourselves, that’s who. We as a nation, as a culture, have allowed people like this to infest our lives. Seriously, if you do a Google search for “30KK” you get link after link after link to, not shops where you can buy that size bra but links to other news articles about this story.
Hell, even my Grumpy Blog about this topic is partly to blame.
And to make it worse, as KittyAsh said yesterday…
Next she will need a reduction because of back ache pains, shoulder pain, neck pain and posture deformity which no doubt shes gonna expect to get on the NHS !!
Which means it’ll be you and me paying to look after her self-inflicted lower back problems. Typical.
I actually speak from personal experience when I say this woman will require further surgery to reduce her chest due to pains and aches. I developed very young and by the time I was 15 I had to wear a size 30DD (not a good thing when your the subject of teenage boys adolescent humour constantly) By the time I stopped developing I was wearing a size 34JJ ! I could get into size 10 jeans but had to wear size 20 tops to cover my chest.
I have no idea why anyone would want to do this to themselves. The pain and discomfort that comes with having a chest that size is indescribable.
Your neck, shoulders, back and lower back hurts and not just occasionally – ALL the time!
2 1/2 years ago at age 31 I was told if I didnt have a reduction I would end up with a back hump and curved spine by time I was in my late 40′s so month later I had surgery to reduce my natural size 34JJ down to a much smaller but still ample 34DD. I cant explain the relief from the years of pain I had experienced. So for this woman to actually put herself through this as a choice is beyond me. No doubt she will need (and will want) them reducing at some point in her life because of the sheer pain she will have from carrying the excess weight around. Mine wasnt a choice I would never have chosen to have boobs that large and yes my reduction was paid on the NHS which I know for a fact cost £4000 but like I say mine was a medical necessity.
I just think this woman will have some serious regrets maybe not right away but whem the pain starts believe me she will. No doubt she will expect the reduction to be performed on the NHS at a cost to tax payers for her foolish choice……..all I can say is lets hope shes saving up the money shesaking from ‘photo shoots’ and will actually pay for the inevitable reduction herself !!

Firstly may I say thank you, I’m flattered you felt felt the need to write about me in your blog after all it’s stuff like this that makes everything bigger! So again I thank you.
However i’m sure you are aware of the saying “don’t to believe everything you read in a British tabloid” so I thought I would take the time out of my busy lifestyle to clear up a few things in your blog that are incorrect !
I don’t have a “glamour modelling career” I work a normal day job Monday to Friday 8 am till 5 pm and believe it or not, I am a tax payer too ! Along with my Husband who also is a tax payer and have been for the last 17 years !
I do NOT charge £35 for a signed topless photograph and I only ever work with Professional photographers whose work I respect and admire. My images produced are all Professional and never will you see a topless “selfie” Iv’e sent to anyone.
However the thing that really annoyed me about this is your comments about my children ! Whom by the way you know nothing about, other that what was printed !
My Eldest does not watch such t.v shows you mention and I can assure you her twitter feed will be nothing like mine because she does not have one or a face book for that matter ! She is Head girl for the “PRIVATE” school she attends and is the their straight A* pupil. Yes, I pay out of my pocket for a better Education and yes Its worth the £42,0000 per I pay, Her chosen career is Law and her ambition is to study at Harvard, Boston. My youngest is 12 yes but to most 12 year old girls all boobs are embarrassing, you see my youngest child is exactly how a 12 year old should be !! still quite young minded, loves playing with dolls , toys and family games, does not have any social media sites and thinks boys are, in her words ” Yuk ” So for her to be embarrassed about my boobs I can assure you is quite normal and would not matter how big or small they were and for your information Their private school does not permit the use of mobile phones during school hours and most certainly not in the playtime as you put it!

Why would you doubt that I would allow your reply on the blog? I believe in the Right to Free Speech. And an integral part of Free Speech is the Right to Reply. It would be massively hypocritical of me not to allow you the Right to Reply. But then, I’m not a multi-million dollar news organisation franchising my article to other news organisations the world over like the Daily Mail.

I had NATURAL large breasts reduced I didnt ask for them or have them surgically enhanced then require a reduction on the NHS . Thats the difference I had no choice in the size of my breasts prior to surgery to make them in proportion with my body size.

Nail right on the head in the first part ……a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, you say I am going to have back ache and neck pain ect due to the size of my self inflicted breast’s and how I expect tax payers to foot the bill for my reduction would be wrong ! In-fact I as a taxpayer paid for yours (not really my point but relevant) When they are the same reasons you had the reduction. Who even said I want a reduction on the NHS? I clearly stated ALL my medical care is private and paid for by me (a taxpayer)
So you need not concern yourself with any of my medical requirements I have no plans to reduce my size anytime soon and don’t suffer any back or neck pains now nor will I in the future, iv’e been this size for over 18 months and regular workouts at the gym ensure that won’t change.
Now I will gladly let that be the end of it. Thank you.
